Wish List for Missionaries in Brazil!

This is a post for mainly my church family, but if anyone else out there wants to help, feel free.

Chris Stansell is leaving the first of the month to go to Brazil to visit some missionaries there.

He always gets a list of item the families might need or want.

Listed below is a list for three missionary families.

If there is something you could pick up to donate...please contact me asap and let me know what you wish to donate.

This is a real chance to bless those who have made sacrifices to reach to world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Time is short, so respond quickly...I need to have this stuff by in the next week if possible!

Email me with what you'd like to donate.

Thankful Thursday: Salvation

I am so thankful for salvation through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.

Talk about the ultimate LOVE!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

I am not worthy, I did nothing to deserve it, I could never in a million years measure up to be able to go to heaven when I die.

But I am thankful that God sent his son to die for my sins. For everyones sins.

I am also thankful that God has given me and my children the opportunity to go on a missions trip to Mexico. We are excited to say the least.

I would love to share the information about this trip and share with you our journey. You can follow us on our journey on a new blog: The Fields are White Unto Harvest.

I hope you will join us on our journey as we share our Lord Jesus Christ with Mexico.

Missions Conference: Cottage Prayer Meeting

This week at our church, we are having Missions Conference. Tonight we spit up on groups and met at individual homes. At each home there was a missionary to speak about their mission field.
Our mission family was Bro. Mike Groves and his family. They are going to go to New Zealand.

My daughter wrote about the meeting and even videos some of the beautiful music we were blessed with. Check out her blog , you will be blessed.

One thing that struck me was Bro. Mike said allot of churches are not taking on missionaries because of the economy. That is so sad. Our country, although we are in a recession, we are still very wealthy compared to the poverty throughout this world.

My prayer is that more churches will be taking on this missionaries that are willing to sacrifice and go. We can be a part of their team and support them financially and with prayer.

Our homeschool group from our church is planning an missions trip to Mexico in May. We are going to be doing some serious fundraising for this trip. I will have a blog up in the near future to explain what we will be doing on our trip. I'll let you know when that is up.

Please go check out Rachael's Blog about the Cottage Prayer Meeting tonight.
Also, another touching post that shows how God works is on Shaivangi's Blog..Check out this awesome testimony.

This is my works for me this week. The Missionaries need all our support, financial or prayer.
I hope this has inspired you to become involved and work for missionaries...That's what works for me!
